\nSvitlana studied at Kharkov University of Arts in Ukraine with Prof. Natalia Melnikova before undertaking\u00a0a\u00a0Master Course at the Hochschule of Music Saar in Germany with Prof. T. Mokatsian.<\/p>\n
Svitlana is a prize-winner of International Competitions such as the Smetana Piano Competition in the Czech Republic where she\u00a0 received the prize for the best performance\u00a0of Twentieth Century\u00a0Music as well as\u00a0Audience and special EMCY\u00a0prizes. Recent successes include a special prize for the best interpretation of the Enescu\u00a0Sonata with violinist Valery Sokolov at the George Enescu\u00a0Competition.\u00a0Svetlana was also awarded the prize for best\u00a0pianist\u00a0at the Joseph Suder International Lied Competition in Germany.<\/p>\n
Svitlana is featured in the film by Bruno Monsaingeon\u00a0“A Natural Born Fiddler” and recorded for EMI Classics.<\/p>\n
Svitlana is currently working at the Yehudi Menuhin School as an official accompanist.<\/p>\n
