El violonchelista Roel Dieltiens estudi\u00f3 en Amberes (B) y Detmold (D). R\u00e1pidamente se hizo un nombre por s\u00ed mismo en la escena internacional y ahora es considerado como una autoridad tanto en violonchelo barroco como moderno.<\/p>\n
Su fuerte personalidad, abrumadora musicalidad y enfoque poco convencional lo ha llevado desde el principio de su carrera a todos los grandes epicentros de conciertos del mundo (Par\u00eds, Berl\u00edn, Londres, Nueva York, Mosc\u00fa, Tokio). Tambi\u00e9n ha ganado reconocimiento internacional como m\u00fasico de c\u00e1mara y fundador del c\u00e9lebre Ensemble Explorations. Desde 2010 tiene una formaci\u00f3n de tr\u00edo con Andreas Staier (piano) y Daniel Sepec (viol\u00edn).<\/p>\n
Ha realizado toda una serie de grabaciones para los sellos Harmonia Mundi y Etc\u00e9tera que, constantemente han recibido elogios de la cr\u00edtica y han despertado un gran inter\u00e9s en el p\u00fablico. Algunas de las citas de las rese\u00f1as que han recibido sus CDs lo ilustran muy bien: \u00abSimplemente el mejor\u00bb (CD cl\u00e1sico, USA, sobre la grabaci\u00f3n de la Sonata de Kod\u00e1ly para violonchelo solo op. 8); \u201cEl \u00fanico disco significante de m\u00fasica para violonchelo que aparecer\u00e1 en 1997\u201d (Fanfare, EEUU, en su CD Franchomme); \u00abUn disco distinguido y la mejor grabaci\u00f3n de Vivaldi en mucho tiempo\u00bb (Diapason, Francia, en su primer CD de conciertos para violonchelo de Vivaldi).<\/p>\n
En 2010, Roel Dieltiens recibi\u00f3 el reconocimiento Klara y el premio Caecilia por su grabaci\u00f3n de las Suites para violonchelo solo de J. S. Bach.<\/p>\n
Dieltiens es profesor de violonchelo en la Hochschule der K\u00fcnste de Z\u00farich (CH) y ha formado parte del jurado en importantes concursos internacionales, incluido el concurso Bach de Leipzig y el Concurso Tchaikovsky de Mosc\u00fa. En el 2022 formar\u00e1 parte del jurado del Concurso de Violonchelo Reina Elisabeth de Bruselas.<\/p>\n
