Sus actividades lo han llevado a importantes salas de conciertos como la Concertgebouw de \u00c1msterdam, Salle Gaveau en Par\u00eds, Carnegie Zankell Hall de Nueva York, el Museo de Tel Aviv, la Moscow Music Dome, The Wigmore Hall y la asamblea de la ONU en Nueva York interpretando Kol Nidrei de Bruch bajo la batuta de Mehta para el D\u00eda Internacional en Memoria de las V\u00edctimas del Holocausto el 2009.<\/p>\n<p>La pasi\u00f3n de Zori por buscar otros intereses musicales le ha llevado a componer su propia pieza Carmeniana \u2013 Suite Brillante, una transcripci\u00f3n sensacional sobre temas de Carmen de Bizet para violonchelo y orquesta, un tr\u00edo de cuerda y un ciclo de canciones \u00abCarmel\u00bb para voz y conjunto de c\u00e1mara. Su arreglo \/ adaptaci\u00f3n del \u00abMonodialogue\u00bb de Wiesenberg \u2013 Fantasy for viola, (dedicado a T. Zimmermann) \u2013 fue publicado por Schott, y su reciente arreglo \/ edici\u00f3n para violonchelo y piano de la sonata de viol\u00edn Brahms op. 78 a C Major se registr\u00f3 recientemente para el SWR.<\/p>\n<p>Un punto culminante de la variada discograf\u00eda de Zori es \u00abInspirales\u00bb \u2013 CC1030 publicado por el prestigioso sello londinense Cello Classics. Este CD, que fue el \u00abCD de la semana\u00bb de la BBC en enero de 2014, es una virtuosa antolog\u00eda de violonchelistas y compositores desde Cassad\u00f3 hasta Rostropovich, Popper, Tortleier, as\u00ed como su propia transcripci\u00f3n de \u00abCarmeniana\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Ganador de los premios anuales AICF de la Fundaci\u00f3n Cultural Israel, Hillel Zori complet\u00f3 sus estudios con el Prof. Uzi Wiesel en la Academia de M\u00fasica Israel Rubin \u00abCum Laude\u00bb y continu\u00f3 en el Conservatorio de Nueva Inglaterra con Bernard Greenhouse.<\/p>\n<p>Zori es un gran pedagogo muy dedicado y solicitado. Entre sus numerosos estudiantes figuran ganadores de competiciones internacionales y nacionales. Con frecuencia es invitado a dar clases magistrales en todo el mundo.
