Theresa Klose
Theresa Klose has established herself in recent years as a highly sought-after singer, particularly in the fields of Lied, oratorio, and concert repertoire. She regularly performs in major cathedrals, concert halls, and festivals such as the Leipzig Bach Festival, the Beethovenfest Bonn, and the Festival Alte Musik in Knechtsteden. Her concert tours have taken her to England, France, Italy, Norway, and the Netherlands.
Her repertoire ranges from 17th-century music to Romantic and contemporary works. Several recordings document her artistic work. In addition to her solo CD Augen released in 2022, she has participated in numerous recordings for Deutschlandfunk and WDR. She has performed with renowned orchestras including the Bochumer Symphoniker, the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne, the Cölner Baroque Orchestra, the Neue Hofkapelle Osnabrück, and members of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra.
After completing degrees in music education and German studies, Theresa Klose studied voice with Prof. Kai Wessel at the University of Music and Dance Cologne, graduating in 2020 with top marks. She later continued her training with soprano Juanita Lascarro in Frankfurt. In October 2022, she also began postgraduate studies with Prof. Thilo Dahlmann at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, which she completed with distinction in July 2024.
Alongside her artistic career, she has been working as a vocal coach for the Cologne Cathedral Choirs since 2017 and, since the winter semester of 2024, has been serving as a lecturer in voice at the HMDK Stuttgart.
